The inaugural blog

Wednesday 21 May - after an inspiring workshop (and free, to boot) on blogs, flickr, facebook etc, I'm inspired to create a blog!

I asked the seminar leader: "Should we create a blog if we expect no comments? Won't we look rather "sad and lonely and desperate"?"

She assured me that most people receive no comments for literally years, so here I go, a lone writer, blogging away.

As a professional organiser, I love coming up with ideas for helping people organise. It's something I live and breathe. It occurred to me that I would enjoy putting a quick presentation on Youtube on how to make up attractive labels. It's almost the last stage in organising, but it can have a powerful effect on the psyche, not to mention the efficiency. And my clients could visit Youtube for ideas!

Time to sign off for today.

BTW, this excellent free presentation, hosted by the NSW Dept of State and Regional Development, can be accessed at http://slideshare.net/silkcharm.

Glenda - ready for comments (yeah, right)
